Dr Sara mercandalli contributed the chapter ‘L’agriculture dans le sud du Mozambique, une activité fondée sur les migrations de travail’ to the book ‘Diversité des agricultures familiales: Exister, se transformer, devenir‘.
This book aims to explain the nature and the force of links between the family and the farm. It is constructed around twenty case studies in miscellaneous countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. The authors clarify “what makes a family”, analyses the adaptations of the family nature and puts them in perspective with the territorial context and the public policies in each country.
